Show new building soon ready for mortuary neal S magleby to move to new location neal S magleby plans to move his mortuary from his north main street location new modern modem building on south first west street some time in mid january he stated this week the new building was designed by the hansen engineering company is being built by M WB reinholt the ground floor has a space of feet and there is a full basement the mortuary itself will contain the latest mortician equipment and the building will house a chapel able to seat persons in the south portion of the building mr magleby will maintain his residence until a new location can be remodeled on main street the richfield floral shop which has been operated in conjunction with the mortuary thus fir far will be temporarily located in the new building houses mortuary many years mr magleby stated that the old building which has probably been ased ased longer for one particular business than any other structure in richfield has been sold to george ogden mr og dens plans tor for the building are indefinite many years ago joseph horne home started in the mortuary business in the very building it was later sold to the lindquist mortuary company and in 1918 it was acquired by W L warner in 1941 mr magleby purchased half interest in the business and in 1946 became the sole owner |
