| Show 10 V lawf horticulturist gives lectures in mute county dr arvil L stark extension horticulturist from the utah state agricultural college spent two and abne one half days in piute diute county last week end holding meetings and doing individual landscaping he held a meeting at marysvale Marys vale last thursday evening at which 23 persons were present and one at junction friday evening at which 32 persons were present he visited approximately 20 homes in the county assisting with individual work dr starks illustrated lecture was very fine and we found his language picturesque and colorful and his slides illustrating the good and the bad side of landscaping just what we needed here his suggestion that we work too hard and think too little and landscaping is not necessarily painting up and planting but raking up and cleaning up were things we could all follow and say that it was waa too expensive as our excuse or reason for n not ot accomplishing atlease at least a general cleanup clean up the thought of using those things that we have at liand hand and making the most of our opportunities Is not new but we need to apply it in our every day living |
