Show CROP production PHO lois FOR FOB TO BE MIE AVAILABLE WITHIN min ONE WEEK crop production loans from the fund recently made available by congress fo for r 1934 willbe will be available boutah to utah farmers within one week predicted george S glen regional re dional gional manager emergency crop loan section farm credit administration sunday preliminary blanks have now bee been n sent bent out by the local office to county agents of the state slate and other agencies to aid farmers in preparing necessary information for the loan forms which are expected within several days those desiring the loans should contact either the county agricultural agent or local county loan committee and file necessary in information with him feld workers of the local office will take action on applications approved by the county loan committees the maximum amount which will be made available to any one ene farmer this year is and the minimum is 25 the inter est rate will be 5 12 1 2 per cent per annum before any farmer may secure a loan he must obain bblain a statement from the county committee jon production control in which he resides that he is working in harmony with the production product ion control program of the agricula adjustment administration the emergency crop loans are arc separate from and not to be confused with the production credit associations loans the administration it is stated does not intend to continue con tinne this measure next year nor to make available funds to those who cannot q al ity for credit through the regular channels of a production credit association the fund will be used to make loans not exceeding the cash cost of growing crops during the year 1934 for summer lowing fallowing fal and for winter wheat to be plant ed edin in 1934 and harvested in 1934 an amount from the to exceed may be used to make loans to purchase feed for live stock of the F C A as drought and storm stricken I 1 all loans from the fund are to be be secured by a first lien on all crops growing or to be planted or grown or harvested during the year 1934 in the case of summer fal lowing or the production of winter wheat a farmer fanner must give give a first lien on such crops to be harvested in 1935 1 farmers who have hake a scourge of income other than farming are not eligible for the emergency crop loans |
