Show daddes daddys h gentit cy T a I 1 ay fy MARY GRAHAM B BO 11 T 1111 UNION CAT AT CONCERT christopher the eat cat went to n concert and no one knew ho he was there until it was almost over then some people got up to leave and christopher thou thought bt he could get away at the same time without being noticed 0 he had been wanting to leave before but he had thought perhaps it would not be polite the camuy had bad all come to the concert c 0 n c e rt they 1 I was almost had nil all been very hit much excited about it that was what made christopher want to come in the first place he be had thought it would be a splendid thing it was a band concert and chris christopher to had come in when no one had bad noticed him lie he had bad heard beard the others talk about tickets and as he had no ticket and no motley money with which to buy a ticket he be thought hed better get in rather i quietly and without being noticed ile he had succeeded ile he had walked in without being noticed such crowds had been coming in so he seen then lie had found himself a place behind some benches and he be bad sat there waiting to hear the concert ills white whiskers had trembled with delight at the thought but now lie he had come out lie he had bad been waiting for an opportunity all ah he was happy when he be saw the few people coming out the members member s of ills his family were still staying but bu t he was not near them well he got up and walked behind those who were leaving a little ahead of time ile he walked quietly and in a most moat dignified concert manner he was sure it was a concert manner as the others had walked that way just as though they knew everyone was looking at them but hoped they could make themselves believe they think sol so I 1 they knew they were noticed but they tried to make themselves think that they so christopher walked out well he was home quite a bit ahead of the family and he spoke to napoleon the other cat about the concert napoleon he said you would have been surprised to have discovered that people will like anything for which they have to pay at least that Is what I 1 have decided 1 I 1 listened to that concert or almost all 0 it I 1 watched the people and their faces were all happy and beaming and pleased and the concert was far far louder lender than any of our back fence concerts ever thought of being my dear napoleon you cant imagine how noisy this concert was you fou cant begin to imagine and the noisier it was the better the people seemed to like it they clapped at the end of each piece and made a great deal of noise themselves now you know how bow they act about 0 our u r back bach fence concerts I 1 tal 1 I know said napoleon 1 I was v it singing my most beautiful s solo 0 I 1 0 and I 1 was almost hit with a jug of water how they act exactly said christopher and yet they will pay to hear bear all that noise at a concert yes that Is what I 1 think about it it if we you would have can think up some been surprised way so BO that they have to pay to have us sing al ng on the back yard fences then they will clap and thirk were fine weve given music to them free all these years and weve spoiled them 1 I really do believe I 1 have the right idea at last and now naw we must think of how to put our concerts on a paying basis basi ls as it to Is said bald alata what ahat we amt think agreed agac Nap |
