Show LOW WATER CAUSE OF PARAGONAH FISH LOSS since last week when we published the story attributing the death of fish in the paragonah Para gonah reservoir to dynamite we have learned that wo we were misinformed and that the loss was caused by lack of oxygen in the water at that place we made our story from reports which came to us from both parowan carowan and paragon ah people and learn the real reason until after our last issue was off the press game warden claude macfarlane states that it was determined after an investigation made by wm win whitney and others from the pring ville fish hatchery that the loss was caused by low water and the heat hea t at that time lack of oxygen in in the water necessitated the fish coming to the surface for it and was therefore the cause of their dying he states that when some of the fish lying on top of the water were taken out and put in the stream they revived immediately this same trouble has occurred several times with fish in reservoirs and lakes when they were drained to a low stage |
