C Larsen family this past week The Riddles came west when their son and brother Mike was married last week Mrs Riddle is Normas Norma's niece even though several of her own children are the same ages as some of Normas Normas Normas Nor Nor- mas While here they joined with the in seeing PromiSed Promised Prom i ed Valley for their first time with the exception of the two youngest little girls who stayed at the Larsen home with relatives They have gone now into Yellowstone where they will spend a week camping out and then will return to Rex College in Idaho where they will leave their daughter Debbie who is planning on attending the college They will then return to their home in New York The Harold Jacobson family family family fam fam- ily left last Thursday to go goto goto goto to and Fish Lake where they stayed until Saturday Saturday Saturday Satur Satur- day of last week While there Mr Jacobson attended a convention The Val Verda Third Ward held an outing at Bear L Lake e last week over Thursday Friday and Saturday The ward members stayed in tents campers trailers and cabins while some of the themore themore themore more ambitious members of the ward slept in the wilds There was water skiing and other fun activities Staying with the Steven Call family are Curt and Sheryl Firth who are in the process of moving from Salt Lake City to Brigham Steve Forsberg who is the fiance of Kathy Bywater Bywater Bywater By- By water left for Japan Steve is in the Air Force and will be stationed there for a year He will come home on leave sometime next year when he will be married to Kathy and the two will return return return re re- re- re turn to Japan where the they will finish out the year The Roy family Camily went to Flaming Gorge recently however they were rained out and had to return home the same day they got there The Roy and Henry families recently took the short trip to Willard Bay where the two families enjoyed a full day of oC boating and water skiing and rec rec- The Val Verda Sixth Ward Prima Primary sponsored a flag nag ceremony and breakfast on Saturday morning Aug 7 The proceeds went to the wards ward's building fund The Joseph Bingham and Harold Donaldson families at attended attended attended at- at tended a a large birthday party Saturday Aug 7 The birthday party was in honor o of John K K Donaldson on his birthday Attending were 79 direct descendants The party was held at the Bountiful City Park The Val Verda Sixth Ward Relief Society went to Arrow Press Square for lunch Aug 10 Tuesday They also went on a tour of the Relief Society Building in Salt Lake City The LUera Literary Club held I I their annual luncheon recently at the Attending guests and members members members mem mem- bers of the club were Marie Standing Shirly Boss Connie Foy Carolyn Whitehead Dorothy Dorothy Dorothy Dor Dor- othy McCarther Helen Bingham Bingham Bingham Bing Bing- ham Joanne B Barlow A Annette nette Mecham and Ann McDonald Gary Miller of Val Verda son of Mr and Mrs Glen Miller married Bell daughter of Mr and Mrs J J.
