Show Program Presented The December meeting of the Parent Par-ent Teachers Association was held Monday evening, December 14.', at the Central School building. After a hort business meeting the assembly joined in the singing of America the Beautiful. Mrs. James NerJin gave material enlightening us upon the subject sub-ject of the relationship of our local P. T. A. to the State and National organization of Parents and teachers. Mrs. Nerdin is Third Vice-President of Utah State P. T. A. Mrs. T. Masters had arranged a delightful de-lightful program which follows: A group of Christmas numbers on the piano by Miss Margaret Ireland. An Old English Christmas Carol sung by a male quartette followed by a"B" number. Silent Night. A very touching reading was given by Miss Helen Candland. Miss Nell Huff had chosen a lovely selection by a well known English author, which she gave very beautifully. Mrs. Masters Mas-ters expressed regret at not being able to present her speaker because of his absence on account of - his being ill. She said that many things pertaining to the British nations had been brought back to her mind by the impressive program. Any persons wishing to obtain good reading material on the care and training train-ing of children may receive same at the office of Mr. Vooton upon request. |
