Show MORRIS BROTHERS RAISE FINE PATCH OF WHEAT ray and carl morris had just finished cutting and shocking a fine patch of fall wheat sunday when the editor visited their farm in the south field the wheat was so tall and thick that much of it had fallen down making the job of cutting very hard although they had spent a lot of time and made a good job of it there were approximately seven acres in the piece all of the winter fife variety and the shocks each containing 12 bundles were put up in long straight rows very close together ray and carl when asked what they thought it would produce both figured it at fifty bushels per acre providing that which had fallen down shrunk too much |
