Show CEDAR LEGION OPENS FIGHTS ARENA FOR FOB SEASON commander S C lamb of the cedar city american legion reports that the opening light fight card held in their open air arena on memorial day may was surprisingly successful in III spite of the tact fact that the weather was unusually cold at the time the dance which followed was very well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by the large crowd present splendid music was furnished by F processor earl J beeaks orchestra orchestra of st george mr lamb states that the same high class entertainment fur furnished nishel by them and under their auspices last year will be continued this season in the form ot of bigger and better tight fight cards dances and rodeos the boxing arid and wrestling matches scheduled for or this summer will be confined whenever possible to local talent for or local people in the past it has been necessary at times to import fighters arid and wrestlers wrest lers from salt lake city and other distant points in order to complete it a card of any size with southern present supply of 0 experienced entertainers it will or should be an easy matter to get performers known by local tans fans and trained by local instructors local boys who would like to participate in the tights fights and wrestling bel programs this summer will be interested in ili the advertisement ot of the cedar city american legion i elsewhere in this issue of 0 the paper |
