R Dansie has been assigned assigned assigned as as- signed to the Metropolitan Narcotics Enforcement Pack and asked that Robert Peters be transferred to the vacant position with a pay increase effective June 1 T The These h e s e changes were ere approved by bythe bythe bythe the Board DEAN SWANER Boyd Jensen Jensen Jensen Jen Jen- sen and Clark Robinson of the Lagoon Corporation met with the Commissioners to discuss discuss discuss dis dis- dis- dis cuss the extension of the thc present contract between Davis County and the Lagoon Corpora Corpora- tion The present contract be be- tween Davis County and the Lagoon Corporation expires in 1973 Before the county makes any further improvements they would like to investigate the possibility of a 25 15 year lease which would be beneficial to both parties The Board would like to know what kind of a lease the Lagoon Corporation would be willing to offer the County to run the shows and fair as needed PRESENT improvements anticipated anticipated anticipated an an- and changes for this summer were discussed The advantages of expenses and income on a long term lease by both parties concerned was discussed It was concluded that the Committee will meet June 28 to continue the discussion and it is hoped some indication of ideas concerning a long term lease will be made possible |
