| Show parowan carowan invited to join Cedar for ifor fourth parowan carowan Is invited along with other communities of this section to join with cedar city in this years fourth ot of july celebration the invitation was formally extend ed on saturday last by L C miles of the community recreation center which Is sponsoring the celebration and which plans to make it the biggest in the history of that city mr miles allies stated while here las week that he sees no good reason why communities as close together toge as parowan carowan and cedar city should euch each put on a celebration and that thai if well join them on the fourth he would be glad to use his influence to have them reciprocate ju in case we wish to stage a celebration for the twenty fourth cedars plans for the fourth features a big patriotic pageant in tile the evening out at the B A C campus depleting depicting the spirit of 76 and including a fireworks display the are anxious that we e join them in this even though wt do not go over tor for the morning or early afternoon activities which will include a public meeting sports and ad childrens events and parowan carowan to Is invited to furnish a group toi foi one of the pageant acts the celebration will in a sense be a culmination of the recreation centera activities for the season and will no doubt include the finals in their series of out ot of door indoor baseball games ira N hayward of the B A C faculty has been named as the general director of the pageant and the best musical and other talent ct cf cedar city will be used no charge Is to be made to the public PT |
