Show commissioners appropriate TO HELP unemployment SITUATION fifty three hundred dollars were appropriated by the board of 0 county commissioners at their regular meeting on monday last for or road work to help relieve ment situation the idea la is to expend this amount in the immediate future on oil various road projects with in the county A tentative division ot of the fund gives the north end 1500 to be expended here and the southend Sout south hend end of tb the e latter amount had leen been pledged to the people of 0 new harmony to be expended in connection with an appropriation from washington county on the road from that village to the state highway about a fifth of 0 which is ia iron countes Coun tys obligation before the other bation of was decided upon commissioner williams suggested that the latler amount be ba divided on the basis of one third to chis his end thirds to the other abid commissioner adams agreed to that airan arrangement gement the county clerk suggested that to make it eveh even figures the division be 1500 and and that suggestion was adopted I 1 the thought behind the appropriation was to expend the money where it can be used to the fhe best advantage in road construction or improvement at this season and to employ those men who are most in ne need ed of relief to do this comma commissioner adams will work with a committee from this end
