Show confiscated LIQUOR an order long past due was made mad by judge cox cos the last day court was in session here it was that all booze then in the custody of the county sheriff in connection with liquor cases which have been disposed of should be poured out and the containers sold at auction A quantity of that stuff around no matter how carefully it is gua or how bow conscientious the officers are in handling it is ia always a source of temptation and a cause for on it should be poured out as ft fast as aa the cases with which it is connected are disposed of then there therb could be no co suspicion as to what is being done with ft and no temptation to anyone it there were to be an exception to fo this rule it should be in n a case of an exceptionally good quality of liquor which might be held foran illness emergency in that event however r it t should be distributed tri buted only upon a doctors ceder and a strict accounting maae of it I 1 I 1 the quantity of stuff which was poured out under under the recant court order was the residue of an accumulation over two or earea years much of it should have been destroyed during judge bur tons tenure ot of office I 1 |
