Show I 1 committees MEET TO MAKE chautauqua PLANS representatives from the chambers of 0 commerce of st george cledar city and farolan parowan and the lions liens club of beaver met here last saturday afternoon for the purpose of discussing plans tor for the big community chautauqua which is proposed tor for the 10 11 12 and 13 of 0 october in the communities mentioned three of the communities put over i such an affair last year and so successful was it that beaver asked to 1 join them this year at the meeting here it was tentatively agreed that parowan carowan Is to put on another drama beaver vill put on a ville and cedar and st george were left to agree among themselves which will put on a musical comedy and which a comedy play season tickets tor for the four nights I 1 ot of high class entertainment in each i community are to be only with possibly a small addi additional additions tiona charge for reserved seats the proceeds in aitch C ch case will go to help some worthy community undertaking leroy 11 II cox secretary of the st george e chamber ot of commerce represented that organization sergeant george 11 II winters leland perry and secretary george geofge A mitchell itchell Al of the cedar caty organization were over from the latter town school carlisle frank 1 rank smith and lew mar alar price of the lions liens club were nvere over from beaver I 1 I 1 and parowan carowan was represented by wm win H lyman president W warner mitchell itchell ll secretary and silas J ward executive committee member of the local chamber there Is a possibility of a change in the dates of some of the performances rather than having them come to us in bour tour consecutive nights but details will be worked out and published in the hear f future u |
