Show LEGION OFFICERS VISIT BINGHAM. Department Adjutant, Otto Wiesley, accompanied by Wayne Wilcox, department Treasurer, and Ted Littlefield and Frank Anderson of the Veteran's Bureau, Bu-reau, paid an official visit to "Bingham Post last Frday night! The regular bi-monthly meeting meet-ing was held at Masonic hall and a large number were in atl-tendance. atl-tendance. The visiting officers spoke in a complimentary manner of the accompfshments of the local post. Plans for the future activities acti-vities of the Legion were outlined out-lined and the projects under way for assisting the disabled veterans were particularly stressed by the speakers. The American Legion Junior Baseball Program came up for discussion at the meeting and Bingham was congratulated for its good start in promoting the league here. The legion pledged cooperation coopera-tion in the clean-up campaign now under way. A committee was appointed to arrange and conduct Memorial Memo-rial day exercises. Music was furnished for the meeting by the Stringed Treo orchestra which furnished several sev-eral numbers during the eve-ning. eve-ning. Refreshments were served. |
