Show GOOD WOMAN PASSES AFTER MUCH SUFFERING mrs levine 13 bentley life long resident ot of this community and mother ot of mayor john W bentley passed from this life between six and seven on monday morning as a termination mi nation of a siege of 0 ill health which began about four our years ago diabetes which eventually developed into brights disease was the cause ot of her suffering which for the last three weeks or thereabouts was almost unendurable for eighteen days her condition was such that the end was almost hourly expected members ot of the family who were with her had left her sleeping tor for a tew few minutes while they ate breakfast and when they returned they found that life had departed she is survived by her husband wm win bentley and nine children john W george E mrs alice lowder mrs fannie stubbs mrs airs clayton taylor and miss bliss ettle effie bentley all ot of parowan carowan Pa rowan wilford bentley ot of loa utah mrs airs lucy eyre ot of mrs airs zelma huffaker of mesa arizona and mrs maude whiting of provo as well as by a brother wm banks of provo and a sister sarah bentley of parowan carowan Pa rowan she observed her sixty sixth birthday on january ot of this year born in parowan carowan Pa rowan the daughter of wm win E and ellen banks she has made her home here ever since and has been one of the substantial unassuming ss ssu ming good women ot of the community to the bereaved family and friends blends rl ends the sympathy of 0 the community goes out at this time and particularly ticul arly to her er aged husband whose declining years will be the sadder for or her absence funeral service was held on tuesday afternoon at in the east ward tabernacle rath bishop marsden presiding speakers were luella R adams john stevens and simon A matheson all 0 of whom praised the wonderful character of the departed one and offered words 0 of comfort and consolation to the tha bereaved ones two poems by maude lyman one ot of which was written on the occasion of mr and mrs bent leys golden wedding celebration recently and one at her death were read by miss bliss alys adams and sentiments by marian A gudmundsen were given L J adams sang in n his usual pleasing way and the choir sang three numbers |
