md rod not so good memories The last week has been filled with much visiting visiting visiting vis vis- vis- vis and partying as ns Mr and Mrs William McIlrath McIlrath Mc- Mc Ilrath left the morning of Dec and drove to Soda Springs Idaho where they spent an enjoyable Christmas Christmas Christmas Christ Christ- mas Eve with daughter Pat and husband Dale and four children They were surprised when they arrived home Christmas Day to findson find findson findson son George his wife and three children had driven from Arvada Arvada Arvada Ar- Ar vada Colo to spend three da days s 's visiting in the area They spent time with brothers brothers brothers broth broth- ers and with Mrs McIlrath's parents in Murray as well as with many of their friends Mrs Vesta McIlrath was also also al also al- al so happy to entertain eight of her 19 granddaughters at an annual Christmas dinner and slumber party on Dec 18 The evening was spent in games and caroling Vesta hopes that some day all nIl her grandchildren will live close enough to spend holiday hours around the fireplace with her Maurice Arbuckle has begun spending time on a tour to California He is looking forward forward forward for for- ward to many new and different different dif dif- different dif dif- ferent experiences Niece Loraine Loraine Loraine Lor- Lor aine Hyatt and family from Gunnison Utah have been visiting visiting visiting vis vis- relatives and friends inthe inthe in m the vicinity Loraine's mother is Afton ACton Arbuckle Moss The Jed Ted family of some 80 members met at atthe atthe atthe the Blue Ox for a get er Sunday Rod and Golden and families were among the party goers Jewel and Paul Buys journeyed journeyed journey journey- ed down from Afton Alton Wyo to enjoy the holidays Jewels Jewel's family numbering 60 in all met at the home of Melinda and Dean Bagnell in Bountiful for the first time in some ten years Members came from Arkansas Washington Seattle Arizona Nevada and Wyoming as well as Utah for the big event Dec Paul Jr was also at home in West Bountiful during the holidays He is in the army and will soon be stationed in Georgia Bell and Byron were thrilled to receive cards and gifts from many of their friends who had hadi enjoyed time at atthe the Ranch in il Wyoming during the the years Their family got together in two parts Christmas Eve to exchange gifts and cheer All the children met at the Byron home with grandparents The older half met at the home of Mike and Jeanie Mothers help to make all holidays special and Kenneth Kenneth Kenneth Ken Ken- neth Wellington and family were blessed to have Kens Ken's mother with them last week The Dan Mitchells were doubly happy to have two In Indian Indian Indian In- In dian sons with them for a week Andrew Scott had stars in his eyes Christmas Christmas Christmas Christ Christ- mas morning and his brother broth broth- er Samuel Scott experienced something he never had before before before be be- fore as he was with the Mitchells Mitchell's for seven days Samuel attends school at the Intermountain Indian School at Brigham City Grandma Lenah Caspers Casper's holidays were brightened with visits from children and grand grand- children Mr and Mrs Keith Vie Nash from San Diego California spent Christmas with her Vie is the daughter of Lenah Another daughter Mrs Bob Ida Deveraux and family also spent time with her Cathy Terry Sue Brad Sharra and Steve had Christmas Christmas Christmas Christ Christ- mas breakfast with her and their folks They also had fun opening gifts Mr and Mrs Ben Haskins and daughter Diana from Oklahoma City are visiting with Grandmother Casper and will help her to say Happy New Year The Ray Pattersons Patterson's have been helping to make the LeGrande LeGrande LeGrande Le- Le Grande Clarks Clark's family joy complete as they visited withold with withold withold old acquaintances It was great to see the fath fath- er-daughter er combination at Sunday School in the Second Ward as Barbara Freestone played the organ and Bob led the singing He was home on one of his visits from Texas He promises that one of these times he will stay home for Cor good Church seemed more normal as did the whole town when Dangerfield was able to join in the festivities and services this week It seems a long time since she was on the almost well list The sound of wedding bells and for their soon be wedding in 1971 Joel was on leave from the army where he heis heis heis is stationed at Fort Gordon Ga The whole ELsby family were together on Christmas Eve Grace and Max Kerr were bubbling joyfully as they entertained entertained entertained en en- all their family for Christmas Brother John Kerr also paid a visit in connection with a business trip from Idaho Falls |
