| Show P H S NOTES we believe that we voice the sentiment of the entire student b ody body afta of the parowan carowan high school when w hen we MY bay that we are aie glad to get back to school glad clad to be at 0 our or lessons lemons again and glad to mingle ingle together socially our unwelcome vacation of more than four months has taught us that without the society of one another we are a not satisfied our experience with this lesson lemon should tend to make our or school work more solid more in unison our oar work has IBS got to co be thorough but rapid and if we are united not te d in purpose pur pt it will be rapid and very beneficial let ua no not forget that we h held id student body meeting last saturday this was the first meeting of the entire P H S this term it certainty certainly seemed fine to be together again the very enter taming program which was wais given was wait under the direct direction io n 0 of if the sophomore class clasa and was a credit to the he class several business matters were also presented before the student body first we were to decide whether we should have a student body organized as planned at the beginning of school in the autumn or a el city ty government the reason this matter was brought before the student body so again was been because alse a of I 1 the decided increase in numbers of the he older students student who mien use their influence for a 1 city government the vote in ID favor of a student body organization win was unanimous next a constitution for the P H S student body we was read to the meeting this thia con constitution was compiled hy by a committee of student atu denta together with miss MIN anna adams who represented the faculty the constitution is made up of articles governing our entire list of student body activities very effectively it has been accepted with a few impending ammend merits ment nearly every member of the school was wa present at the matinee dance wh eh ch the school orchestra gave last friday and everyone there had a very road good time during the course courm of th the dance the girla were allowed to choose their partners it is hard to sav my which enjoyed that part of the dance more the girls girla or boys bay SECRETARY |
