| Show that gigantic sage parowan carowan Pa rowan utah nov 23 1915 editor times dear siri sir I 1 was quite startled in reading the last issue ot our much loved times to find that my big artemisia data was kinteen inches enes in diameter and no doubt many of your numerous readers would say well the old man has got to be a regular munchausen of course there was a mistake somewhere perhaps I 1 am in the same fix as the english lord whose handwriting was something like horace gree leys levs someone asked his lordship why he write a little plainer oh said he be if I 1 wrote plainer people would soon find out how damned badly I 1 spell and so with my had writing or bad spelling or something my big sage was said to measure nineteen inches in diameter when it should have read nineteen inches in circumference the rest of the description in the times is quite correct as can be proven here at my place no doubt dear sir you will be kind enough to make this little correction and so save my face and the reputation of the times for veracity and reliability thanking you in advance I 1 am yours respectfully ALEX MATHESON |
