Show A PARK nov 30 1883 editor of park I 1 noticed i in your last weeks issue an error in regard to alie ejectment suit in tead lOf townsite suit against me buty order of the court I 1 have until the first day of january next to stay and 1 had made my arrangements to stav pro and appeal what be called the townsite suit or moru prop erly the patent buit the had occupied bytha town or paik city and also mineral located on it these suits bv the united states four in number against P A nims and E P perr foi the purpose of setting aside the patents issued to nims were instituted by the united states on mv affidavit of complaint to the united states land hon mcfairland McF irland and in said complaint him to the protest made by myself and other citizens of park cily in 1876 to the of patents for the said land to pied A ninn B thee suit the townsite of park city as 3 ou are at pleasure to call it will bo determined poi this reason I 1 moved to continue tha suit but bainy forced to trial I 1 mide a point to the introduction ot the patent presented by E P perry that it was invalid on its tace for the reason that it stated tholand patented to nims was tho sixteenth section ibis point was well sustained by my attorneys hon denny and jude J b borchin Borc min bv good authorities ties and able argument which not refuted the overruled by the honorable court judge hunter cf course tre ejectment case will po to the supreme court of the leantory lern tory and if I 1 tail to et judgment there then it will coto the supreme court of the united states I 1 and others will hang with the tenacity of bulldogs for our rights the have simply got the wrong awine by the ear L |
