Show this summer in the Snyderville Basin. About three weeks ago the Park City Building Department had recruited this individual for their staff. I find this rather ironic in light of your comments. com-ments. 2. Most businesses, including governments, govern-ments, make an effort to promote employees from within the infra-structure. To do otherwise leaves no incentive for career-minded employees employ-ees and produces non-productive, unmotivated un-motivated personnel. You alluded comments appear to have already condemned Jerry Smith. Jerry is a dedicated, knowledgeable person who has worked diligently on the county permit system since its inception. 3. Granted, Summit County is experiencing rapid growth in the basin; however, the county is not in an abeyance. This commission is making progress by adequately staffing the planning and zoning department along with other departments. Conversely, over-reacting to the problem would affect a lot of people. This affect would be in the form of higher taxes. On occasion the Park Record has applauded the direction taken by the county and is appreciated. On the other hand, your didactic editorials are at times not warranted.
