Show Financial seminar series to begin November 20 A series of five seminars on year-end financial strategy will be presented jointly by Utah Technical College at Salt Lake and Merrill Blake, Inc. on consecutive Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning Nov. 20. A professional faculty of financial and legal executives will share responsibilities for the five sessions. They include Edward F. Bates, CPA; Martin B. Empey, investment advisor; Lee McCullough, attorney; Wayne Reece, investment advisor; Roger Smedley, investment advisor; and Steven D. Woodland, attorney. The seminars are geared to individuals and companies who may find themselves at the end of the tax year with disposable income that is likely to be heavily taxed unless it is legitimately sheltered. The free seminars will be held at the Redwood Road campus of Utah Tech in Room 203 of the Rampton Technology Building. Reservations are recommended.
