Show Dick Whitney Golf Tourney Raises $1,000 for Sid Club The First Annual Dick Whitney Memorial Golf Tournament was held here Sunday July 19 and raised over $1 ,000 for the Park City Ski Educational Foundation. The "Scramble" tourney in memory of late Park City resident Richard Whitney drew over 70 partcipants. The "scramble style tournament tourn-ament allows only the best ball or lie to be played out of the four hits by the foursome. four-some. Trophies were awarded the top two foursomes and a special "hackers" prize went to the worst. Winning the Tournament with a 9 under par score was the foursome of Bill Mc-Comb, Mc-Comb, Rob Morris, Bub Keye and Sam Circo. Coming Com-ing in second at 9 under was the foursome of Craig murley, Jim Lynn, Don Hutchison and Dick Doty. The Hackers award went to the team of Debbie Reid, Chris Parker and Cindy Davidson. Park City Ski Club President Presi-dent Bob Marsh said he was very grateful of the donation adding the money would be used for scholarships, expanded ex-panded video equipment and improvements on their office building at the lower resort parking lot.
