Friday and Saturday the cost is $3. Don't miss this blend of American and Swiss culture through song and dance. PARADE Everyone loves a parade and you'll love the Swiss Days parades to be held 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. The Grand Marshall Mar-shall for the parades will be the Consulate of Switzer land, Mr. Gottlieb Schneebe-li. Schneebe-li. Mark Van Wagoner, radio and TV personality, will MC the parade and highlight the entries. SWISS CONSULATE The Consulate of Switzerland, Switzer-land, Mr. Gottlieb Schneebe-li Schneebe-li from Salt Lake City, will be at Swiss Days this year. Mr. Schneebeli will add a great deal of Swiss culture to the celebration by having pamphlets pamp-hlets and booklets available, two films that distinctly describe his native home- The celebration has a very fine parade, which shows off the Swiss culture of Midway. The parade is held Friday evening and Saturday morning of the festivities. land, and will generally be available to discuss Switzer- land. Please stop by the pavilion of the town square and make Mr. Schneebeli feel welcomed. i SWISS MARKET The traditional Swiss Market Mar-ket located on the town square is the focal point for most of the celebration. There will be 44 booths and 48 spaces rented, thereby offering a wide variety of Swiss and American food, a large assortment of handmade hand-made articles, and items imported from Switzerland. The market will open at 10 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday. Shop early to find the best selection. SWISS MISS CONTEST The selection of the Swiss Miss for 1982 will take place on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the LDS Third Ward cultural hall located on the town square. Mark Van Wagoner from KSL will MC the event. The reigning Swiss Miss is Miss Christina Baum. I.
