Heber and Genevieve met at the U of Utah where he was bussing dishes for the catering service and she was in charge of cater cater- ing Both were born of goodly parents Heber lIeber at Heber City Utah and Genevieve Romney at Preston Idaho In April 1951 with Jennifer Ann they moved into a little red brick home in the same sam alfalfa field where Hugh am and Alta AHa Hayward had just built a home Michele 1 arrived the next June followed by Cheryl then Jolane Heber became a par part of the Bishopric Then along came Jim who could not have been more welcome The last addition to the family was was Jerry Gene Charley sort of borrowed for nine months each year from a fine Navaho fam family ily By down in New Mexico I IThe I The children are all piano oriented Jennifer now a Sophomore Sophomore more at BYU couples her studies of math with music Michele 1 is a Senior at Viewmont Viewmont View mont also BYU bound She is historian of the National Honors Society Cheryl a junior is a a good organizer and is also it a a member of the National Honors Society as is Jennifer Julane a ninth grader enjoys all sports Jerry in the grade runs like a deer Jims Jim's dry wit and questions give lots of conversation ammo for meal meag mealtime time j jI I Genevieve has a degree in education from Utah State in Logan and has received advanced advanced ad ad- train training ng at Columbia University When her mother died she took her place as as Mission Mother Mothel so her father could finish his calling of presiding over the Central State Mission 1 Heber has served on a Southern Southern South South- ern States Mission l and has also served in the Army in Australia New Guinea the Phillipines and Korea in World War II He has a degree from the University of Utah |
