Wednesday evening the A's" became the Little League champions for Park City's '75 season by defeating defeat-ing the 'Pirates" 9 to 7. The "A's", coachedby Kelly Mackley, received their first place trophies at a ceremony afterwards, presided pre-sided over by league president, pres-ident, Neil Clegg. Clegg who has run the league for years announced that: this was his last year with the Little League and plans to spend next summer doing a lot of fishing and traveling with his family. Receiving the second place honors were the "Pirates" who had a valiant season and missed the first place title by only two points in the final game of the three-day tournament. The "Pirates" who all received trophies were coached by Neil Clegg, assisted by Randy Ririe. Taking third place in the league were the "Braves" who ousted the "Cubs" by a staggering 25-6 victory. John Znuda, the "Cubs" coach explained that 13 of the 25 runs scored against his team were scored by 13-year olds.
