S Lewis to be presented by I Ithe the University Young Peoples People's Peo Peo- Peoples People's ples pIes Theatre at 4 pm p.m. Friday Friday Friday Fri Fri- Fri Fri- day Nov 29 at Viewmont High School in Bountiful THE TilE SETTING of this play is an old English manor house where a group of children are arc visiting While exploring the house a little girl discovers discovers discovers dis dis- dis- dis covers a wardrobe and goes into Jt it Then she finds out that she can go right through it into a world of make be lieve where it is always winter and never Christmas I This make-believe make world is I called Narnia This little girl is so entranced entranced entranced en en- I with her new dis- dis I covery that she wishes to share it with the other children chil- chil dren so she goes back through the wardrobe and tells her story But alas the other children dont don't believe her Finally she convinces one of the boys to go back to Narnia with her THE TilE TWO children go through the wardrobe into I the make believe land where I it is always winter and never Christmas They find out that this land is controlled by a wicked witch who wont won't let them have seasons The rest of the play revolves around a plot to destroy the witch Tickets for this production may be purchased at the box office before the performance Season tickets for the three remaining performances are still available |
