Show Believe If Or Hot, Snow Finally Meliing and Access Improving the head of it and the campground's camp-ground's will , not be open for some time. This area received a new four inches of snow this past week-end and the road from the highway to Mirto"r Lake Lodge has not been opened. The snow has finally melted melt-ed off of the roads in the Uinta's allowing the fisherman and sightseer access to many of the lake's and streams. The following conditions can be found by anyone wanting to plan a trip into this area within with-in the next week or two. Whitney Res. Road fair to good but caution should be used because of rain and snow. Fishing has been good for both cutthroat and brook's. Bear River: Slow fishingwith the river being high and swift. Mill Creek: Fair to good fishing, planted with 1200 rainbow. rain-bow. Lily Lake: Road in poor condition, con-dition, fishing fair to good, planted with 1000 rainbow trout. Black's Fork: High and fish- k k k a i ing is slow. Road from Bear River is in good condition. Smith Fork: High and slow fishing. Road in good condition. Marsh Lake: Planted with rainbow and fishing is good. Campground's open but water has not been turned on. China Lake: Fair fishing but not planted. Bridger Lake: No fishing because be-cause of treatment. Henry Fork: High and slow fishing. Road in good condition. Beaver Creek's: Poor fishing fish-ing because of high water. Hoop Lake: Closed for season. sea-son. All of the road's are open to the trail heads but all of the basin's have snow in and the trail's are muddy. The Highline trail still has snow at k k k k k |
