In his undated letter which w:as submitted to the "Dear Citizens of Park City" last Thursday, Mayor Price stated: "I am resigning my post as Mayor of Park City. Ire-fuse Ire-fuse to be a party to underhanded under-handed and illegal methods employed by the Park City Council." In the letter tne Mayor thanked city employees for their help and devotion to their town and apologized to the concerned townspeople for not fulfilling duties as elected. In quoted public remarks Mayor Price leveled blasts at Councilwoman Mary C. Lehmer and Councilman Clements P. Hansen. In his statements Price pointed out criticisms of Councilwoman Lehmer on her stand concerning matters mat-ters relating to Park City-Greater City-Greater Park City Company Com-pany agreements. Mayor Price believes legal grounds do exist to warrant removal of the Councilwoman from office. In his public utterances Price referred to Councilman Council-man Hansen as: "Mrs. Leh-mer's Leh-mer's house-trained puppy dog." Commenting on the incident incid-ent Monday eveningCouncil-man eveningCouncil-man Hansen stated: "I'm rather disappointed in his (Mayor Prices') stand and choice of language." Councilman Leon Uriarte stated: "I think the Mayor has done a good job and I think it's fine if he wants to come back." 'It's my belief he made a few rash statements, but he'll cool down and it will be a good thing if he reconsiders," recon-siders," the Councilman said. Councilman Richard Martinez Mar-tinez was in the hospital and not available for comment. Mayor Price is spearheading spear-heading a drive to remove Councilwoman Lehmer from office. He said: "I will present a case which is currently being prepared, why Mary Lehmer should not be a City Councilwoman.
