Show THOUGHTS while shaving: Sooner or later I'm gonna do it. Been putting it off long enough. Don't care what My Lady Fair Louise says ... I'll sneak away if I must. After all, other people go to X-rated movies. Why shouldn't I? In my careful disguise nobody no-body will recognize the hunchbacked, hunch-backed, toothless,' bald-headed, stump-legged old goat sneaking in to 'Last Tango." Care to join me ? NOW THAT I'M at least 55, I'm eligible to join the AARP. It's something or other for Retired Re-tired Persons. Wonder if it's like for Senior Citizens. North Summit andSouthSum- mit people are to be sincerely congratulated for their Senior Citizen activity. Both groups have a barrel of fun and help themselves stay young with dinners and trips and socials and games. Some time ago Morgan Coun- cilman Ted Carter sent out letters let-ters to most of the senior citizens cit-izens in Morgan County. He got about 12 replies, none enthusiastic enthus-iastic and some of them you gotta-lotta-guts. This is regrettable. TheSen-ior TheSen-ior Citizens of Morgan County and Park City are missing a lot of fun and surely there are enough genuinely interested to form a solid nucleus ferorgan-ization. ferorgan-ization. Why not give it a go? MY LATEST realization of the far-reaching effects of inflation in-flation was a shocker. Somehow Some-how the prices of everything didn't sneak up on me, coming along gradually as they did. But after all, I haven't bought a school tablet for about half a century. Of course you remember the tablet. Just 50 sheets, maybe, may-be, of coarse, cheap paper with blue lines across. And it cost a hard-earned nickel and should last half of a school year. Yesterday I accidentally ran across the very same tablet in a store. Can you believe the price? It was plainly marked, no mistake: 49?. Now I've seen everything. Mac. |
