Ann Meister Will Be Back With tears in her eyes and a lump in her throat Ann Meister, a resident of Park City since November 1969, left on August 16. "I'll be back, no doubt about that! was her parting remark. Ann fell in love with Park City prior to 1969 when she came here with U.C.L.A. skiing groups. She's going back home to stay with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. us Meister in Altadena, California, Calif-ornia, where she plans to complete com-plete a course in hotel management man-agement with LaSalle Extension University, and then, at the very first opportunity to return to Park City. Her mother, Edith Meister, has been a frequent visitor in Park City and arrived August 12 to enjoy the second annual Park City Art Festival with her daughter before both returned to California. Ann has become well-known in Park City circles her long blond hair cascading down her back or neatly braided, she was a familiar sight on MainStreet. She worked at Park City West, Treasure Mountain Inn and the New Park Hotel; more recently she was an ideal manager for My Favorite Things because of her aptitude at window dressing and her ability to knit, crochet, and sew hand-made items that |
