Show Saint Mary's Represented al Convention Taking the place of Father Victor G. Bonnell, pastor of Saint Mary's Church, this weekend week-end will be Father John J. Sullivan, pastor of Saint Marguerite's Mar-guerite's Church in Tooele. Father Sullivan will say the 6:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday and the 11:00 a.m. Mass atSaint Lawrence in Heber. He will preach at all masses and hear confessions before the services. serv-ices. Father Bonnell also announced announc-ed that confessions will be heard every Saturday after the evening mass until 8:00 p.m. On Tuesday, Father Sullivan will conduct all classes at Saint Lawrence church in Heber and will say Mass thereat 5:00p.m. The reason for this, is that Father Bonnell will be in Tooele from Saturday until Tuesday in order to conduct the Annual Forty Hours Devotion there. Saint Mary's parish was represented rep-resented at the convention of the Council of Catholic women held at Judge Memorial School in Salt Lake City by Violet Terry and Dorothy Murnin.The convention on Saturday, April 22, was pronounced a great success and very inspirational by the delegates. On last Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Catholic Youth Convention Con-vention was held in Salt Lake City at the airport Holiday Inn. Saint Mary's was represented by Linda and Delores Martinez, Rosemary Durante, Willie Murnin, Carol Ann and Tony Uriarte and Curtis Berriochoa. RaNae Martinez attended as adult advisor. |
