The World Cup team will return to the United States in late February Feb-ruary to compete in World Cup races in America and Canada. In March the World Cup finals will lie held in Val Gardena, Italy. There are also Europa Cup races in March. In April there are a number of races called the Spring Series. The coaches feel that these are good races from a developmental standpoint. They will try to use as many racers as possible in the Spring series. Hopefully, these races will lie held in the West so as to enable team members to compete without the tiring travel. This would also make it easier on team budgets. After the Spring Series there will be about a month of active rest before the Summer training programs begin. |
