Show Many Changes at Park Perk City High New Teachers Class Officers During the past summer many changes have taken place in the halls and class rooms of Park High New green carpet adds beauty and softness to the halls of the school and Md blue carpet adds to the beauty of the class rooms The c ceiling lUng in the halls have been lowered d and covered with acoustic tile to decrease the noise A new lighting system has also been installed in the halls Two of the class rooms have been carpeted in n blue anu an all of the rooms have had acoustic tile Ule installed on the ceilings The Board plans to carpet more of the class rooms next year The students of Park High have a school to be proud of and they should all enjoy the new Reporter Kathleen Mrs Karen Bruce one of ot three new teachers at Park High is from Merced Calif A graduate of ot Merced High she left California to attend BYU where she obtained a degree as asan asan asan an education specialist This means that she will win be working with small groups of students who have a particular problem in inn some school subject Mrs Bruce also minored mirrored in music Encouragement to become a teacher came from her father while she was still sun attending Junior High She had always enjoyed being around students so a vocation as a teacher washer was washer washer her decision Mrs Bruce did her student t teaching in the Nebo District Her summer vacation was was' made mad complete comp lote two weeks before school started when she married Mr Bill Bruce who Isnow is isnow isnow now attending the Y Mr Bruce is study studying In g to be a Mechanical Engineer Other than her husband Mrs Bruce's other interests include dancing working in the LOO Chu Church ch and darning She enjoys being a waitress and is lookIng Is Park Highs new home economics and girls' girls physical education teach teach- er She is also adviser for the Pep Club Miss Behling Is from Ferron Perron Utah where she graduated from Emery County High School She attended both the Snow Show College and Brigham Young University where she majored in home economics Her hobbies hobbles are cooking and sewing Miss Bohlin Behling g likes sports and Miss Remely Homely is from Schenectady New Now York which is approximately miles mUes north of New York City where she graduated from Niskayuna High School After high school Miss Remely studied German and music for a period of four months with the BYU Exchange School Abroad in Aus tria She then came to Utah o 0 attend Brigham Young University University University Uni Uni- from which she graduated
