Show Application Necessary For Building Permit City council meeting held August was waa called to order by Mayor Harry DeJonghe De- De Jonghe The first flut order of business was to administer the oath of of office rice to Councilman Byron Jones who was appointed ap- ap appointed ap ap- pointed to fill the term of office of Councilman Robert Hernon The Tha minutes were then read and upon hearing no ho corrections or additions they were approved as read All councilmen were In attendance at this meeting with the exception of Leonard Addy who was excused A letter from the county agricultural agent was received In m answer to the letter previously written by the recorder asking for assistance from the county In to aiding In weed control In Park City The Tho county agent stated that it was the wrong time for weed control due to the fact that most moot of the weeds have gone to seed but he be Informed us that that the tho county would be more than willing in helping with this situation In the spring It was agreed by the council that anyone wishing to build any building In Inthe Inthe inthe the city limits should first make application application application ap ap- to tho the recorder stating the location and the type of the building to be built and then the application will be presented to the council for ap ap- ap approval Tho The water department Is 18 Installing a two-inch two pipe line Une on Woodside avenue on Fourteenth street to relieve the water pressure at the houses located Inthis In Inthis Inthis I this area This will Improve the low I water conditions In that area until the thee inch four-inch pipe Is available to do the work previously planned The street department have been busy the past week covering Silver creek from the top of Main street continuing to the City hall halt This work will be a Do abig abig big Improvement and plans are being made to cover the entire ditch in due time After all business was taken care ol of the meeting was adjourned The next regular meeting will be held September at 7 pm p.m. |
