C Dear Sir you will find a copy of a resolution dealing with the ruling that has been handed down by the chairman of the Mining Division of the War War Production Production Production Pro Pro- Board This resolution we wish to state deals with only one of the mining companies In o our r mining district namely The New Park Mines company This is the only f company that has contacted the Local Union as yet over this matter This company has been in the past and nd from the policy Of the company they krill continue to work for the welfare of of both the government and their em em- We one of the largest C. O Local Unions In the state of Utah feel that if all operators would work in the same manner as Mr Cranmer of the New Park mine many of the differences can be bead ad adjusted lusted I I I We further wish to state that this mine in itself will be one of the leading producers of gold silver lead zinc and copper which are the essential metals necessary necessary to us at this time and It not only means the production of metals but It also means the employment of a great number of men If the ruling that has been handed down by the War Production Board and andIs Is followed strictly then not only will the metals be stopped but there will be beno beno beno no further development or employment of men and it will mean that many thousands of workers will be thrown out of jobs We the Park City Miners Union No 09 signed by the f following members of or orthe the Executive Board ask that you give your utmost consideration to this matter and that you place the New Park Mining Mining Min Min- ing company back on its priority rating that they had prior to the amendment NO P.
