Show SOUTH SUMMIT SCHOOl SCHOOt I Three n new w t teachers are on the staff of South Summit this year Mr Winterton Mr WInterton gr graduated from South Summit in m 1934 While in high school he heas as tf as active In and was on his hU junior prom committee com com- He lie was student body chairman of entertainment He Ile attended the University of Utah for two years and was called called on MI a mission to North Carolina and Virginia When he returned home he went back to the University University University Uni Uni- to complete his education While there he met and married Maureen Shepherd a graduate of Jordan High School He lIe went Into the Army for six months not because Maurene didn't want him but because Uncle Sam did didi didO I Mr WInterton taught as an n emergency substitute for two months at South Summit last year as an art and English teacher teach teach- er He ne Is very Interested In show business both producing and per per- forming He lIe had furnished many of the variety shows for various people and organizations He lie and his wife wire have one son Brad who Is seven months old and so If for any reason Mr WInterton WIn tenon tl seems grouchy and mean mean in his classes it is because Brad Brad who already has four teeth Is cutting two more Mrs Durrant Linda June Durrant was born in Mesa Ariz Arts and grew up in inthe inthe inthe the Valley VaHey of the Sun Ariz She is the oldest of four children Mrs Durrant went to school at Mesa High lUgh and won the outstanding homemaker award of the year After completing high school she attended the BYU and majored in homemaking education D During her soph sophomore more year she attended school at Arizona State University University sity While Mrs Durrant was attending attend ing lag the BYU she met Martin Durrant from Evanston In an visual audio-visual aids class They were married last lait July 7 in the Mesa Ariz Tempe After they were were married the lived Jived In Ina a tent up Millcreek Ca Canyon yon for fora a month while Mr DUr Duran Durrant ant t was working 6 in the Forest F rest Service Mrs Durrant thoroughly enjoyed this Last August Mrs Irs Durrant went back East and attended the Hill Cumorah Pageant She also visited visited visited vis vis- Nauvoo Carthage Liberty and arid other places of interest Mrs Durrant loves to explore n nature ture She also plays pla the piano sings sews kooks cooks and likes art Miss 1118 1 Hoyt Miss Hoyt the daughter of Mr and aid Mrs R.
