Malt passed away awny at his home In the First Joint Ward yesterday morning at 7 30 o'clock Mr Mair was one of or the best known and as popular a n man as us we we have In our community and his hi passing away will be sincerely regretted re- re regretted by hosts of ot friends I For more than thirty-seven thirty years I Mr Mair has resided In this community com com- com I and leaves Ila a record of ot honesty hon esty reliability t and faithfulness hon I When not holding public office Mr Mair was employed at the Silver King Coalition ana anc Ontario Mining I companies where he was always alwa'S held in high esteem and his services I appreciated by the managements thereof I For three terms he held the office I of Sheriff of Summit county and at atthe atthe atthe the time of ot his death was filling the theoffice theoffice I office of city marshal for the third time and was fire chief pt pf this city for two years I As Asa ja public officer he be performed his duties fearlessly and impartially In his death leath a devoted husband a good man and a dependable citizen has been taken from our midst To his bereaved widow and brothers and sisters Bisters sympathy Is extended in their loss Deceased was born in Salt Lake City on October 7 1866 He came cameto cameto to Park City In 1886 making h. h his home here continuously since that time Ume Besides his hid widow deceased is survived survived survived sur sur- by two brothers and three sisters Thomas sisters Thomas Malt of Salt Lake City A.
