F Bye Dye who vho Is visiting in hIs hla old home In Kentucky My Dear Pear Sir While Sir While writing a afew afew afew few lines home Just thought I might night let you know that I made the trip without any mishap or Irregularity though it was a long and tiresome j journey urney Since 1 I am here I am having hav hav- ing ipg an experience such as s but few fow men are privileged to have In Di comparing notes I have found to my utter titter astonishment that I have been absent from my parents and relatives and the home of ot my childhood ty-four ty years and eight mouths months This is as you know a very large block out ont of a life time giving ample mple space for tor many changes some of which were pleasant some that carried a message of at sadness Both Doth of which were experienced In Inthe the death of ot my aged and beloved mother This was the first death within the family circle circle circle cir cir- cle of ot which I was a witness This death together with the many years of absence makes it all the more mora sad for me yet I like all others must be reconciled I have seen more aged men here than it II has ever been my privilege to see at any anyone one time In my life lite On the whole so far my trip has been wonderful Will Wilt soon be on my return trip home bome With best bet wishes I remain Very respectfully yours CHAS F.
