Show Frank Collins Jr r rin in the Trenches Th The following Interesting letter Utter was received the tho first of ot the w week ek by Frank Collins from his son Frank Prank who I la is fighting In n th the trenches over there Somewhere In France Prance August 23 1918 M My Dear Father It Father It h tyis s been a II long time since I have written yen ou ou but ut I think of ot you OU often orten I am well well welland and hope you ou are Ike B same me The weather is very hot here hero now and we are wishing for rain It Is U almost too loo hot to flo do anything I 1 am going down to the river and take a swim to cool off oft a bit I have been In the tho front trenches eight times and I have seen Been the big tanks In action a sight 1 I would not have haye missed for a n good deal They I can go anywhere I 1 was sitting in my trench one day when one of these monster tanks passed right over the top tOli of ot me You can believe me when I 1 say I 1 w woks s frightened for Cor a few tew minutes When I I.
