S t y twice The first time flat on my back for three weeks In 1944 Then last August AugustI I was in for another operation same as asI asI I had in Salt Lake but since then I if y feel teel better than Ive I've felt for tor a long time tune J gained about 28 pounds and now weigh pounds And now I am working every everyday everyday day at the tho Sequoia Hotel operating the elevator so you see I still have my ups and downs Lee Wight and wife and Ed KIdder and wife were visiting here a few weeks ago and while I didn't get to see them I talked with them over the phone Mr KIdder has a son Mark who is a re reporter re- re reporter reporter porter on the Fresno Bee Ive I've not met him yet but am going to try to toone toone toone one of these days The Utah were out here for tor the Raisin Bowl football game on January 1 1 and there were about 40 girls with them all staying at the hotel and among them was a sister of Mrs Carl Condie so I had a little chat ch t with her Mr Walt Palmer who used to work for tor Blyth Fargo In the grocery grocer department lives here I met him sometime ago but have not seen him recently Well Sam guess Ive I've rattled along about long enough so will sign off ort for now Sincerely yours A.
