W W. Fish responding to roll roU call caU The Tho minutes of oC the previous meeting were read and approved as read I Mr Kenneth Borg engineer was pres pres- present present present ent at the meeting and reported to the council that he had bad made a survey of tho the area selected for tor the Park City Re Re- Recreational Recreational Recreational I Center and had completed the map on It except for tor a n. minor detail Also they the were proceeding with the plans on the swimming pool A number of complaints were received of various arlous protruding over oer the tho sidewalks so as to obstruct the free passage on the walks Therefore the city council kindly ask that the people please take note of or their premises and correct this undesirable condition to conform with the city ordinance Chapter Section which states that It shall be unlawful for any person owning occupying occupy occupy- occupying occupyIng ing or controlling any real property within tho the limits of Park City to allow weeds or noxious growths to remain on the sidewalk areas in the front thereof to the curb line of the street for 48 hours after atter notice from the city council to re remove re- re remove I move the same The property committee was instruct instruct- instructed I ed to investigate the need of lights on ona ona a number of the back streets f where are poorly lighted A motion was duly passed that the city lease the garage on Park avenue owned by Byron Dyron Wilde to house some the city equipment The city marshal was given permission to order badges for the tho Junior Police in order that they may be readily recognized ed by the other school children Water accounts licenses permits and fire firo hazards were discussed after which this meeting was adjourned and the next regular meeting of the council will be beheld beheld beheld held on October 3 3 SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Ma or Albert Frantz called a special meeting of the council to consider the advisability of borrowing from I I the First Security Bank of Park City in anticipation of the collection of the taxes for the year of 1946 Whereupon after atter discussion Councilman Leonard Addy made a motion that the mayor major ma or and re recorder re- re recorder recorder corder be authorized and directed to issue a tax anticipation in the amount of This motion was as seconded by Councilman M M.
