Show Legion Outlines Program For Year The local post or of the Amerl American n Legion sends greetings to all men of I all wars wishIng them all kinds ot of good I luck It especially sends greetings to the disabled veterans of World war II It I Invites all of them who are honorably discharged t to affiliate with the local I post At the meeting of the post to beheld be beheld I held at the Veterans Veterans' Memorial building February 8 a moving picture show of the I landing and battle ot of Guadalcanal will willbe be shown to which all men of I I all wars and those on detached duty are arc invited The Tho picture is being shown because be- be because cause of tho kindness of the Standard comp company ny or of California Doors open I Tuesday February 8 at 8 p. p m. m There will be no admission charge We are planning to Invite the Kamas and Heber City posts to be our guests on that evening I The Legions Legion's first New Years Year's meeting will wUl be held Tuesday January 11 at which meeting the posts post's New Year program pro pro- gram will be outlined The first item on this program will wUl be to all our old members and all those who have become delinquent In past years The other will be the seCond collection or of old and worn out phonograph records These records are to be melted and made over anew into modern records and sent to camps at home and abroad Boy Scouts Will collect them by a house to house canvass they will be received by the tho post adjutant in the Bardsley building Main street and will be shIpped to the factory Gather up all your old un- un unused unused used and broken records and be ready for the Boy Doy Scouts The news of railroad d steel aviation I and other strikes is what causes the hearts of f Germany and Japan to reJoice I The fact that Americans are at each others throats Is the best news noes that these enemy countries have had in years W.
