E McCormick This matter was referred to the tho city property comi come com- com i e on motion of Councilmen Kidder and Olsen Tho minutes of the meeting of ot Octo Octo- October ber ter 3rd were read and approved by the council A petition from Mr Don Petersen to build a on Woodside Avenue was read rend Mr Petersen was given permission to build this building on motion of or Councilmen Kidder and Hansen Councilman Kidder reported that the stop signs at the lower end of Main Alain street had been removed and slow signs placed on both approaches to this point it was also suggested that a double yellow mark be placed at the lower end of Main street to keep the traffic from cutting across this street Marshal Fisher was Instructed to take care of this mat mat- matter ter tor mat mat-I j Councilman Hansen reported that all I city city equipment has been prepared for for forI winter with freeze anti Installed In all I radiators etc and that the Landis Trac Trac- Tractor Tractor Tractor tor company had repaired the power grader and Installed lights and genera genera- generator generator tor and were going to Install a n new I carburetor on this equipment Councilman Brooks reported that the work of cementing the tho broken places on tho the curb on Main street and covering the White Way cables was almost completed and that the gutter on street by Johnstons Johnston's store would be completed to carry carry the water from the grizzly on Woodside Avenue to the gutter on Park Avenue The matter of repairing the sidewalks on Main street was discussed and the recorder was instructed to write to the Utah Roof Asphalt company and order a n. truck load of rock asphalt to use in repairing these walks It was also reported that the residents of Park Avenue did not have a good I water supply when the railroad locomotive tive is loading water at the D D. and R. R R.G. R.G. R.G. G.
