C OHara who passed into his final sleep at his home in Los Angeles on November The cause of ot death was a paralytic stroke of which he had three The first was about two weeks ago from which he seemed to rally and friends visited and chatted with him Just the night the final stroke He had bad been feeble for some time though and quite w was s unable to attend the last Park City P picnic Requiem mass was recited at the Church Churchon Mother of Good Council Catholic Thursday morning at 10 o'clock af af- after after af- af after on which the funeral procession proceeded pro pro- proceeded proceeded ter cemetery Here the to Calvary Catholic Church were wore final rites of the recited A committee from Loa LOS Angeles I I I Lodge g B. C Hurlbut 1201 North Everett erett Street Glendale California November 22 1936 Dear Mr Once again we are called upon to note the death of an old Mr OHara O'Hara As time marches on we depart one by I one We all miss him very much Mrs l I OHara O'Hara Is 18 facing things very bravely but naturally will be very lonely Jack JackI OHara O'Hara as he was familiarly known was born November 28 1856 In Pirth On On- Ontario Ontario I I tario Canada where he spent his boy boy- boyhood boyhood boyhood hood days Coming to the United States in 1880 settling In Iron Mountain Michigan Later coming west working in Colorado Nevada Montana and to Park City Cit Utah in 1884 where he was employed at the Daly and Daly West mines as carpenter He was married to Eliza Ellza J. J In 1888 and resided in Park City until 1916 when they went to California Later returning to Salt Lake City going Into the hotel business In 1925 they moved to Los Angeles California where they since made their home |
