Show death takes beloved woman I 1 M nn F I 1 I 1 ill I 1 I 1 I 1 I 1 1 I I 1 IV 1 I 1 I 1 0 T I 1 I 1 1 I I 1 I 1 Z I 1 il L ot I 1 I 1 AIRS MARGARET N MATHESON god calls our loved ones but we lose not wholly what he bath given they live on earth in thought and deed as truly As in his heaven the many friends ol of mrs margaret N matheson were shocked and grieved sunday last when word was received that mrs matheson had passed into her eternal sleep at the miners Il hospital atter after a few weeks of suffering buffering with heart disease near her when the end came were her three children her mother mrs airs 1 iI argar argaret et nimmo mr william nimmo hrs jane and mrs male br brother 0 ther and sisters and other loved loved ones who had been summoned orn om their homes when the s serious erious con c of the sufferer was realized deceased met her death with the true C hristian fortitude which has characterized her life hie and before the end came lads a long farewell to her loved ones all possible was done to save her but to ta no avail the efforts of experienced factors tors and nurses proved futile against the ravages of her malady mrs margaret nimma nimmo matheson Mat beson was born in park city december 9 1885 daughter of mr and mrs john NIMMO she was educated in the public schools of our city and for many years was a popular and efficient clerk at the former blyth fargo store on december 11 1909 she became the w x lie ife of mr air arthur matheson who died in this city december 2 1920 after the death of her husband mrs matheson was employed at welsh driscoll bucks store and served two terms as city treasurer deceased Is survived by her three children mrs airs charlotte barben marguerite and arthur Ar matheson atheson her mother mrs margaret nimmo and brother won wm nimmo of salt lake mrs jane of provo and mrs male of this city sh she e was a most deeply loved and respected woman a devoted wife ideal mother and sincere friend and hundreds of acquaintances I 1 in n this city and state grieve her loss deceased was a beloved member of Mount fountain aln chapter no ho 2 order eastern star where here she RI always ways took an active I 1 part until ill health prevented her from doing so funeral services were conducted at masonic temple wednesday afternoon I 1 under the auspices of the eastern star ithe the impressive r ritualistic services being conducted by the officers of the chapter two favorite hymns ns of deceased sometime well understand and face to face were beautifully rendered by mrs N X F P Th ellke mrs geo sheen mrs airs john mcclellan ilan and mrs airs B R P diehl A vocal solo the rosary was feelingly rendered by mrs airs A L hurley mrs wilfred langford was accord accompanist for the services rev F P W bulkley belkle y of salt lake city spoke of the true christian character of the departed the pall bear bearers erg were R W macdonald fraser buck jack tallon joe sullivan jim harrington and john wyckoff out of town friends who attended the funeral were mr and mrs ray briggs dr and mrs chester dalgleish mr and mrs m r s wm kelly mr and mrs geo gee wilk kanson i n son mr and mrs alfred doidge mrs wm linklater mr alex mcdonald misses myra bessie and tente mcdonald mr and mrs E P tracy mrs mra chris anerson derson and daughter dorothy mr and mrs wm grey mrs mike there la is a word of grief the sounding token there Is a word be jeweled with bright tears the saddest word fond lips have ever spoken word that breaks the chain A little itt Is of years must ever bring emotion it its 9 utterance the memories it crystals cann cannot ot die known la in every land on every ocean ms called goodbye good bye 1 CARD OF it THANKS JANKS to the dear friends and neighbors who so BO kindly assisted us in lifes greatest trial and those who so deftly wove together the beautiful flowers we tender our most sincere thanks MR AND MRS GEORGE BARBEN BARB EN MISS marguerite MATHESON MR ARTHUR MATHESON MARGARET NIMMO MR WM NIMMO MR AND AIR S THEO J MR AND MRS lapage H |
