commonly colled nick ot of course you know that the score was 7 to 6 in favor of us our hopes tell fell just after morgan kicked off because the park boys missed the ball and morgan managed to get it 11 tills this all happened so suddenly that the spectators w wire re quite bewildered this was the first thing that nick commented on he said through excitement and the anxiety to get off to a good start two miners muffed the chance to receive and a charging trojan tell fell on the ball this later proved nearly fatal to us it only took tour four off tackle tackie rw to net a 1 trojan touchdown touch down hard luck tor for the All miners ners I 1 should say it was but miner are not easily discouraged so they chose to receive and marched back vp rp the field to gain the advantage in tho the second quarter of the game nick goes on to describe the touchdown and field goal that won the game for us on the downhill down hill trend the miners charged consistently with eckls sick wortley and allison alternating in the line plunges the touchdown touch down came tor for the miners just after the second quarter started allison made the touchdown and mcgarry kicked for the winning point the second halt half of the game was more or less a defensive game neither team could make the grade when it came to getting very close to the goal the suspense kept everyone on his toes tu till the gun proclaimed the first victory of the year for the park city miners P C H S the football players are still anxious that you keep in mind the afternoon and evening of october in the afternoon of that day burnt foodstuffs miss mantle tells us that they are studying cereals in the cooking class and have made a tea towel in the sewing class the sophomores are a little more familiar with their study ot of course right now we are making skirts and blouses we find sewing enjoyable after a long summers vacation As you know mos most t girls like clothes and a new skirt and blouse certainly make most of us happy in our study or of foods we made preserves jams and jellies it was very interesting being different from any thing else we a have done P C H S our english instructor mr christensen informs us
