in this community into which the tale at ot of victory has not been poured long will the people ol of park city remember that famous day on w which aich our band won the beautiful cup for our permanent possession we also admire and prize the symbolic s statue we won von for the best interpretation 0 of f t the he stars and stripes forever we wish the band continued success and we know that it if their present ambition and zeal continue there will be ba no heights unattainable tor for them that Is why we dare to hope for a permanent possession of 0 the A division cup in future years we are truly proud of dasil smith and the other soloists who have brought honor to themselves and to their school SNYDER 33 0 aw 0 SENIOR REPORT the time is drawing near to the date when the senior class of 33 will leave dear old park high forever as a united class perhaps some of us will return to take a postgraduate post graduate course but this will not be the some same as being in every class 1 together as it Is IF now that we are still a class some of course are very glad to leave school but the majority realize that their school days are over and that they can never return to the stage in life that we have just passed perhaps some will go on to college to prepare themselves tor for a vocation to which they will look forward others will not act be able to go on to college but they may find a vocation tor for which they are fitted without a college education 1 but what ever happens to each and every one we know that we shall never regret the that t we attended school at parte park high because there are nineteen seniors who are members of the band wiloh has won the championship lor for threet consecutive I 1 years there are fort forty y eight members in the class which make it the largest class that has graduated irom from the new high school OHAGAN 33 DOMESTIC SCIENCE DOINGS the freshmen classes have arranged to have continuous sewing weeks until their dresses are completed this week h however I 1 w Is the last and all of the freshmen are putting in hard work and extra time the majority of the class win will be able to finish this work the sophomores have turned out an admirable piece of work on their project taking every detail into consideration the idea Is novel every article from the I 1 tiny books ideal lor for a two year old child to the wall paper on the walls of the nursery has proved very satisfactory tills this work has been so different from I 1 anything we have hod had that the girls have shown a great deal of interest 1 the school this year will not be able to have a spring exhibit but we extend an invitation to all who are arc interested to to visit the domestic science department PARRISH 35 0 4 0 O I 1 SCIENCE mr ain bingham has served notice on all I 1 of f his classes that it if school were to close tomorrow he would be certain that all of the students had bad been exposed to all the irequi required alred material we students are beginning I 1 to believe that someone has giver given him the mistaken idea that school is going to close tomorrow at least that Is the impression left in our minds from all the work that he be Is giving us the chemistry students are outlining the chapters that they should cover it if i they expect to receive full credit for the work which they have done this year their laboratory work Is very interesting although it keeps them hurrying to finish they have three stills in operation up to the present we know that that sounds to be a call tor for the sheriff but they are stud studying ving alcohol the students seem impatient tor for the legislature to take some action on beer mr air winters biology Is seeds they have found a very interesting and practical way ot of doing this tor for they have planted seeds in order that they may watch them grow the students ere are required to keep a diary abe progress ot of the seeds these diaries are due in three weeks the physics students have finished their reading assignments on electricity and now they have started a rev review few this will consist at the present time ot of going back through the book doing various drawings which will make that pa particular reticular a tudy study fresh in their minds again DABLING 34 the juniors rendered a very interesting program last thursday april tho the program consisted ot a the following g A short play by frieda bigler and ann georgio the name of the play was the umbrella dialogue it wa svery timely for now all fat women and skinny women will know the very simple method that has to face Is that of choosing his life vocation it Is a very difficult task 11 for a boy to decide just what he Is going I 1 to make of himself what he wants to take up when he leaves high school to help shoulder this great responsibility there Is in the civics text a chapter which takes up the matter of vocational guidance this Is just what the civics boys are studying now although this work in any way tell a boy what he should do it does give him very valuable advice such a study as this comes at a very opportune time for it will help the freshman to decide what he wants to take up in life hence what he should study the remaining three years of his high school life the world history students are benning beginning gl to find out the difficulties that prevailed in france throughout history at the present time the students are taking up and discussing the french revolution the economics class have had several questions answered in the last few days that they have been carrying in their minds tor for several years since the cl class iss Is taking up the fixing of prices the students are no longer in doubt as to why a thing costs so much such terms as utility supply and demand
