not have been caught maybe this IS isi the reason they felt so embarrassed when miss keener asked them to write autobiographies the junior and senior english classes are just beginning to get used to brothers or sisters haa a scratch or cut you ab should could know how to care for it in a proper I 1 arst aid manner the care of children and such in the home always has been the responsibility of a woman a at t one time or another she ts is called upon to give home care to a sick member of the family to furnish desirable surroundings lor for the growth and development of children and to meet the every day accidents anc and 1 emergencies of the home the advances in the medical profession have been so rapid that it Is difficult for r some ome people to accept the new ideas an understanding of nursing based upon modern science gives a girl a better equipment tor for meeting nursing problems I 1 I 1 that was possible a generation ago I 1 there may be ba many well equipped hospitals and highly trained nurses with ir toe the reach of the private family buti but there will be always a certain amount of h home ome nursing I ing which must be done by the mother t her or some member of the family to attain some skill in caring lor for i the children and administering to the ills ot of others Is an ideal which Is both I 1 worthy and practical this Is only a part of Hed hedwiga
