Show old timer called last saturday after an illness ot of more than ten months james A gibson an early resident of park city passed away mr gibson came to pari park city in 1881 and lor for thirty years with his family made his home to in this city for years he followed the occupation of teamster awen ty years ago he took up his residence at milford Ml lford where he lived until stricken with his fatal illness mr gibson was born bom at fairview utah 7 1861 ITS he was a man of jovial habits and made friends with all whom he came in contact he leaves many friends in park city and southern utah whose sympathy goes out to the bereaved widow and family besides his widow deceased Is survived I 1 by two sons alex and john both of this city one daughter mrs bibble brum nen two brothers dave and john all of salt lake eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren deceased was a member of the wood men of the world under whose auspices funeral services were held at the I 1 0 0 0 0 F hall tuesday afternoon undertaker archer in charge interment was in glenwood cemetery the pan pall bearers were hy bates of rigby idaho wm bates jim yates han daniels didaniels dave scott and ned young the out of town people who attended the funeral were mr and mrs george stewart of spanish fork mr and mrs alex gibson gabson and mrs tom jones salt lake alake city mrs rosella coalville Co alville mr and mrs hy bates rigby idaho |
